Job Summary
Performs skilled and semi-skilled tasks in the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of facilities, equipment, and furnishings at RV Park. Performs basic cleaning duties including making sure RV grounds are clean and free of trash and debris, trash cans are emptied and restrooms including toilet, urinals, sinks, showers, mirrors, counters and floors are clean.
Job Description
CORE SCOPE OF POSITION
- Maintains assigned area of the facility.
- Adjusts heating and air conditioning systems.
- Maintains, installs, and repairs plumbing systems throughout the facility.
- Repairs roofs and replaces floor and ceiling titles.
- Performs basic cleaning duties including making sure RV grounds are clean and free of trash and debris, trash cans are emptied and restrooms including toilet, urinals, sinks, showers, mirrors, counters and floors are clean.
- Performs preventative maintenance throughout the facility and on the equipment.
- Maintains interior and exterior walls and surfaces by painting, plastering, and/or general repairing.
- Performs carpentry and other construction work in remodeling.
- Responds to maintenance emergencies.
- Moves furniture.
- Inspect buildings, facilities, and equipment to ascertain needed repairs; makes or recommends repairs or alterations as needed.
- Prepares interior and exterior hand railings by washing, scraping, or sanding.
- Ensures a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within scope of responsibility.
- Adheres to all company and department policies, procedures, and standard operating guidelines.
- Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION
- Must complete in house propane certification course annually.
- California driver's license required.
EXPERIENCE
- Experience working with basic plumbing, carpentry, and/or related building trades.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Knowledge and proper use and maintenance of hand and power tools related to job functions.
- Good verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Must have the ability to work in a fast paced, deadline oriented environment.
