Our Client, an IT Services and Consulting company, is looking for a Mainframe Developer for their Dearborn Heights, MI location.
 
Requirements:
  • 10–15 years of experience in Mainframe development (IBM z/OS environment)
  • COBOL (programming & enhancements)
  • JCL (batch processing and job scheduling)
  • CICS (online transaction processing)
  • DB2 (database design, SQL, performance tuning)
  • Strong knowledge of batch processing, OLTP systems, and system integration [lamwork.com]
  • Hands-on experience with debugging tools (e.g., Abend-AID, Xpediter) and utilities
  • Experience with change management tools (Endevor, Changeman)
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience in Agile / Scrum delivery models
  • Experience with modernization initiatives (mainframe to cloud / APIs / microservices)
  • Exposure to integration technologies (MQ, REST/SOAP services)
  • Knowledge of DevOps tools (Git, Jenkins, IBM DBB)
  • Experience with scheduling tools like Control-M / CA7
  • Industry domain experience (Automotive / Banking / Insurance preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
