Daily responsibilities will include processing incoming/outgoing mail and incoming packages. Candidates must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask. The manager is looking for someone with mail experience and basic computer skills. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 pounds and push up to 400 pounds on wheels. There will be excessive standing. Someone with warehouse, retail, and mail experience would be successful in this role. They will be working with handhelds, computers, and POS systems. Parking is the responsibility of the candidates; public transportation is highly encouraged, as parking costs about ***/month.QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, and Certifications) Typically Required: Requires a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience. High-volume mailroom experience is required. Demonstrated competency in basic computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office Suite.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Technical aptitude with postage machines and other office equipment Good customer service skills Good organizational skillsWORKING CONDITIONS, MENTAL AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Typically an office environment with adequate lighting and ventilation, and a normal range of temperature and noise levels. Work assignments are diversified. Interpret, comprehend, and apply complex material, data, and instructions; prepare, provide, and convey diversified information. Some physical effort is required, which may involve long periods of standing, walking, bending, reaching, stretching, climbing, or similar activities, as well as lifting or moving items weighing up to 50 55 lbs., and pushing or pulling machines on wheels for repairs.
