Mail Production Specialist - Document Processing

Location: Farmington, MO 63640
Pay: $19.00/hour
Employment Type: W2 Contract Temp-to-Hire
Schedule: Monday–Friday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM CST
Hours: Full-Time 40 hours/week with possible overtime

Overview

A large healthcare services organization is hiring Mail Production Specialists to support high-volume document and mail processing operations. This is a production-based role focused on sorting, scanning, imaging, and processing incoming documents for enterprise departments. The position offers strong long-term potential with a high likelihood of extension and possible full-time conversion.

Responsibilities

Open, sort, and prepare incoming mail and documents
Scan and image incoming paper documents
Process and record incoming correspondence
File imaged claims, appeals, adjustments, and related documents
Generate and mail correspondence related to submission errors
Maintain records, files, and processing documentation
Meet department production and quality standards
Assist team members in other processing areas based on business needs
Lift totes weighing up to 35–40 pounds
Work mandatory overtime as needed

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required
3 months to 1 year of production, mailroom, warehouse, clerical, or related experience preferred
Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to handle repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy
Reliable attendance and ability to meet productivity expectations
