Seeking a Senior Machinist for full-time, onsite work in Jacksonville, FL, working 3rd shift (Sunday-Thursday, 10:15 pm-6:15 am). This contract-to-hire role involves operating and programming CNC machines to produce precision parts, supporting manufacturing objectives.

  • Set up and operate multiple machines based on blueprints and route sheets.
  • Perform machining operations such as cutting, shaping, deburring, drilling, reaming, and more, ensuring close tolerances.
  • Adjust machine parameters, inspect parts with gauges, and participate in SPC and lean initiatives.
  • Maintain equipment cleanliness and safety standards.

  • Requirements: Minimum 5 years CNC experience with lathes and mills (Okuma, Nakamura, Haas), familiarity with 5-axis and turret machines, ability to interpret blueprints, and strong machine shop math skills. Effective communication and teamwork skills are essential. Aerospace experience is a plus.

    Pay Range: $20.50 - $25.00/hour. Applications encouraged promptly as roles may fill quickly.
