We are seeking a Manual Machinist for 2nd shift in Pell City, Alabama, to operate milling machines, drill presses, and lathes.
- Machine parts to specifications, using tools like lathes, mills, and boring machines.
- Calculate dimensions and tolerances, inspect parts, and ensure quality.
- Set up and adjust machines, align fixtures, and select appropriate tools.
- Monitor machine operation, diagnose malfunctions, and perform necessary repairs.
- Read blueprints, study engineering info, and plan machining operations.
- Maintain equipment through cleaning and lubrication.
- Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams.
