HEICO Component Repair Group, a leading provider of FAA-approved aircraft component repair and overhaul services, is seeking a skilled Machinist to join our dynamic team.


In this position, the Machinist is responsible for setting up and operating manual machines such as lathes and mills, fabricating and finishing aircraft parts, and ensuring all work meets FAA and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities



  • Interpret and work from engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications

  • Machine aerospace materials such as aluminum, titanium, and stainless steel

  • Perform inspections using precision measuring tools like micrometers, calipers, and gauges

  • Troubleshoot machining issues and perform routine machine maintenance

  • Follow all safety procedures and proper use of PPE



Skills/Education & Experience:



  • High school diploma or GED required

  • 1+ years of experience as a Machinist operating lathes, mill machines, and precision tools and equipment

  • Knowledge of FAA regulations and standards preferred

  • Ability to read and interpret technical data

  • Knowledge on using precision measuring tools

  • Strong attention to detail


Physical Demands



  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time

  • Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.

  • Frequent use of hands for operating machinery

  • Ability to work in a shop environment with moderate noise levels and exposure to mechanical equipment
