Seeking a Machinist C position in Huntsville, AL, responsible for setting up and operating machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders to produce precision parts to exact specifications.
Essential duties include interpreting blueprints and engineering drawings, fabricating parts, performing in-process inspections, and maintaining equipment. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, with 6+ years of relevant experience or 2+ years post-secondary education with 2+ years of related work.
Preferred skills include trade or journeyman machinist certification, manual and CNC machining experience, knowledge of blueprints and inspection methods, and familiarity with industry regulations. Ability to obtain a US security clearance is required.
