Machinist (2nd shift)

We are looking for a Machinist with both manual and CNC machining experience for an opportunity in the Tacoma, WA area. This position will be in a manufacturing setting on 2nd shift.

Location: Tacoma, WA

Pay Rate: $30.00 - $40.00 an hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 2:30pm - 1:30am

Key Responsibilities

• Work from blueprints/schematics and complete tasks within budgeted hours.
• Perform tasks utilizing Fanuc, Okuma, and/or Vickers controls on mills and lathes.
• Set up and operate vertical or horizontal mills.
• Run both manual and CNC machines (mills and lathes).
• Edit G & M codes when necessary to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience machining both conventional and CNC machines
• Strong ability to read blueprints and schematics
• Strong ability to set up and operate vertical and horizontal mills for both small and large fabricated/cast parts
