Machinery Diagnostics Field Engineer / Rotating Equipment Field EngineerAs a Machinery Diagnostics Field Engineer, you will be providing customers complete service solutions to address their critical rotating machinery assets, protection, and monitoring system. This will include evaluating machinery condition based on rotor dynamic analysis.ResponsibilitiesDiagnosing machinery problems based upon vibration data, operational data, and customer communications.Travel to customer sites to provide supporting service.Completing timely reports that identify findings and provide recommendations to the customer.Building relationships with customers to provide a high-level of service delivery, becoming their trusted advisor for their rotating equipment health.Calculating and overseeing placement of balance weights.Applying Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) standards and procedures.Required QualificationsHave a bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical Engineering a plus).Have minimum 2 years of industry experience.Be available for extensive travel (up to 70%) and significant over-time (paid).Possess a valid driver's license and passport (or able to obtain a passport).Be eligible to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Workers Identification Credential).Be eligible to travel overseas and/or work on offshore platforms on occasion.Desired CharacteristicsTheoretical and practical knowledge of reliability services.ISO certification for vibration analysis.Demonstrated authority and assurance in dealing with people.Excellent written and oral communication skills to convey technical concepts to business and technical personnel.Experience working under stressful working conditions.Project Management skills.Solid computer skills using MS Office software.Mechanical troubleshooting skills.
