2nd Shift hours are ~3 PM-11:30 PM

What You Will Do:

The Machine Tool Services (MTS) Supervisor - 2nd Shift plans, designs, and reconfigures equipment, machinery, buildings, and structures to ensure the optimal utilization of the organization's facilities. The Machine Tool Services (MTS) Supervisor - 2nd Shift will manage a team of staff to include team leaders of Technical/Business Support or Production/Maintenance areas while setting day-to-day goals and objectives for team members.

  • Assesses and evaluates the physical space requirements of the organization and recommends plans to meet needs.
  • Gathers and reviews data concerning facility or equipment specifications, company or government restrictions, required completion date, and construction feasibility.
  • Reviews and estimates design costs including equipment, installation, labor, materials, preparation, and other related costs.
  • Ensures proper functioning of facilities through ongoing inspection and maintenance.
  • Conducts machine inventories and arranges disposal of obsolete or no-longer-required equipment.
  • Manages facilities contractor management process.

Qualification You Must Have:

  • A Bachelor's Degree and minimum 5 years of experience in an engineering, manufacturing operations, project management, quality or similar environment OR an Associate's degree and 7 or more years of experience in an engineering, manufacturing operations, project management, quality or similar environment.
  • In absence of a degree, High School Diploma/GED and 9 or more years of experience
  • Experience working with machine tools and repairing machine tool equipment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Demonstrated ability to work with and motivate cross-disciplinary team members.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Demonstrated skill and success in team leadership, facilitation & coaching skills
  • SAP experience

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
