This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing milling and turning operations, supporting production goals, and ensuring quality and safety standards are met. The ideal candidate will have strong machining knowledge, leadership experience, and the ability to drive efficiency within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Key Responsibilities:Supervise and coordinate daily activities of machine shop personnel on 1st shiftProgram, set up, and troubleshoot CNC milling and turning equipment as neededEnsure parts meet engineering specifications and quality standardsManage workflow to meet production schedules and delivery deadlinesTrain and mentor team members on equipment operation, safety, and quality proceduresMonitor tooling, preventive maintenance schedules, and material inventoryCollaborate with engineering, welding, and assembly teams to maintain production flowPromote continuous improvement initiatives in safety, quality, and productivityQualifications:7+ years of machining experience in a manufacturing environment3+ years of experience in a lead or supervisory roleStrong understanding of CNC programming, machine setup, and fabrication processesAbility to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawingsStrong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsCommitment to safety, quality, and teamworkBenefits:401(k)Health, Dental, and Vision InsuranceLife InsurancePaid Time OffOpportunities for long-term growth and advancement
