Pay:$14.00 $17.00 per hour (DOE) Location:Tulsa, OK 74127 Shift:Monday Friday | 7: 00 AM 3: 30 PM(Hours may vary based on production needs. Overtime available.) Job Type:Temp-to-Hire Job Order #:125229 Position Overview We are seeking a motivated Machine Shop Helper to join our manufacturing team in Tulsa, OK. This entry-level position is ideal for someone looking to start a career in machining or manufacturing while gaining hands-on experience with shop equipment and production processes.
The ideal Machine Shop Helper is dependable, eager to learn, and comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial environment. Required Experience & Skills Previous shop or manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new skills Strong work ethic and reliable attendance REQUIRED Ability to follow directions and work independently or as part of a team Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment Ability to safely use hand tools and basic shop equipment Essential Duties & Responsibilities Deburr and clean machined parts to prepare them for production or shipment Operate basic shop machinery as trained and directed Assist with general shop duties and material handling as needed Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing guidelines Support machine operators and production personnel to keep workflow moving efficiently Inspect parts for obvious defects and report quality concerns to supervisors Perform additional duties as assigned to support daily operations Preferred Qualifications Experience in a manufacturing or machine shop environment Basic knowledge of hand tools and measuring devices Interest in machining or fabrication as a long-term career path Ability to adapt and learn new production processes quickly Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed Frequent use of hands, hand tools, and shop equipment Ability to perform repetitive bending, reaching, and material handling tasks Work Environment Manufacturing and machine shop environment Facility is not climate controlled Exposure to machinery, noise, dust, and industrial materials Hands-on, physically active role requiring attention to safety and quality PPE required while working on the shop floor Why You'll Want This Opportunity Great entry-level opportunity with room for advancement On-the-job training provided for motivated candidates Stable Monday Friday schedule with overtime opportunities Long-term temp-to-hire position with career growth potential Excellent opportunity to build machining and manufacturing skills Ready to Apply?
