Machine Repair Technician
We are seeking a mechanically inclined Machine Repair Technician for one of our clients in Brunswick. The primary focus of this role is diagnosing issues, troubleshooting mechanical problems, and performing timely repairs to minimize downtime and maintain smooth operations to ensure proactive working order.
Shift:
Mon/ Tues/ Wed/ every other Thurs 5pm-5am
Pay:
$23-$26+ an hour depending on experience
Key Responsibilities:
Perform machine repairs as the main function of the role, ensuring equipment remains in optimal working condition
Conduct preventive maintenance, including replacing belts, bearings, greasing components, and other routine mechanical tasks
Support general maintenance needs as required this may include floor markings, light painting, cleaning, and various odd jobs around the facility
Maintain a proactive approach to equipment health to prevent breakdowns and ensure consistent production performance
Minimum Qualifications:
Strong mechanical aptitude with hands on experience in machine repair
Ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues efficiently
Experience with preventive maintenance practices
Willingness to assist with general maintenance tasks as needed
Dependable, safety focused, and able to work independently
