Machine Operator/Machine Packer Responsibilities & Daily Duties Load paper onto automatic hand-fed or web envelope folding machines and pack the finished product in a team environment. Inspect the quality of envelopes, labels, cartons, reports, and variances to key personnel and check current production orders and schedules to determine daily production requirements. May be required to do rework on finished product. Cleans up the work area during and at the end of shift. Other duties as assigned and required.
Machine Operator/Machine Packer Pay & Schedule • Pay: $16.37 • 1st shift premium • 3rd shift premium (11pm-7am) • Schedule: Mon-Fri with Saturdays required during busy season, based on business needs.
Machine Operator/Machine Packer Physical Requirements & Work Environment • Ability to keep up with a high-speed delivery output in a standing position for a full shift. • Mental alertness to stop equipment when jam occurs. • Ability to step up and manually feed paper into the machine. • Ability to lift up to 55 pounds. • Manual dexterity required to grasp objects. • Exposure to arm and wrist fatigue. • Exposure to noise; must wear hearing protection and safety shoes.
