Machine Operators - Industrial Manufacturing

Now hiring experienced Machine Operators including Screening/Stranding Operators; and/or Jacketing Operators; and/orTake-Up Operators; and/or asWire Technicians to work for our Cable-Manufacturing facility in Milton, FL. Must have the willingness to learn the company's process. Previous experience as a Machine Operator is required, but it does not have to be on this specific machinery. Any experience with wire drawing or spool reels is a plus.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Safely operate the various machinery that is used in our cable manufacturing facility.
• Read/interpret/understand blueprints and/or drawings (including symbols, material type, and material shape).
• Setting up the screening and/or stranding machines independently from a selection of tooling options: set-up, pay-off, take-up; setting running parameters; consistently monitor the QUALITY of product.
• Familiar with using/operating electronic screens for controlling the screening or stranding process (Human Machine Interface). 
• Good mechanical skills with the ability to handle and move heavy reels of products.
• Must maintain a consistent log of production AND quality per company systems & standards.
• Maintain safe operations by adhering to company safety procedures and policies.

EXPERIENCE: 

• At least 1 year as a manufacturing Machine Operator (or as a CNC Operator) is preferredbut NOT required.
• At least 1 year of experience working in a manufacturing/machining environment is preferredbut NOT required.

EDUCATION: 
High school Diploma (or equivalent) is preferredbut NOT required.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to pass a drug test.  
• Must have Steel-toed boots.
• Must have RELIABLE transportation to Milton FL.
• Must complete a pre-employment background check (having something on your record does NOT eliminate you from this position, we take everything on an individual "case-by-case" basis)

PAY: 
Position starts at: $15/hr. --- $18/hr. ---Depending on level of Experience
(with the opportunity to increase over-time)

SCHEDULE:  (Full-Time)

Currently Hiring for BOTH Day & Night Shift --- All shifts are 12-hr's 
Day Shift = 7:30am - 7:30pm
Night Shift = 7:30pm - 7:30am

***Expect to work at least 60 hours per week***
(ALL hours worked over 40-hrs will be paid at "Time-and-a-Half")
