Machine Operator - Tier 1

Title: Machine Operator- Tier 1

FLSA: Non-Exempt

General Summary:

·         As a Machine operator you will be responsible for a variety of machine-specific functions. The listed below are included but are not limited to.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

·         Cleaning, stacking, and moving pallets

·         Identify, confirm, and prioritize work to be performed

·         Learn to set up machinery and perform tool changes as needed

·         Learn how to perform changeovers

·         Load programs/inputs into the machine control

·         Learn how to perform daily PMs on machinery and equipment used

·         Use proper tools on the machine

·         Bunch, label, and stage parts for the next manufacturing process

·         Practice exceptional housekeeping

Job Qualifications:

·         Experience: Machine operator experience

·         Forklift experience preferred (will certify in-house)

·         Blueprint reading skills

·         The ability to understand and convert decimals and fractions

·         Detailed oriented

·         Computer skill

·         Good communication skills

·         General labor skills

 Physical Requirements for the job

·         Ability to move at least 50lbs

·         Ability to stand and use hand tools 8-10hrs per day

·         Wear the necessary PPE for the position
