MACHINE OPERATOR | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:

• Location: Columbus NE 68601 – 100% on-site
• Payrate: $22.70/hr
• Required Availability: Full-Time | Night Shift: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
• • Alternating days schedule
  • Overtime and weekend availability may be required based on production needs

MACHINE OPERATOR | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:

The Machine Operator is responsible for operating production equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining quality standards and meeting production goals. Candidates should be comfortable working in a team environment, performing inspections, completing documentation, and troubleshooting basic equipment issues.

• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

MACHINE OPERATOR | RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently
• Perform visual inspections and quality checks
• Complete changeovers, cleaning, and line clearances
• Troubleshoot minor equipment issues
• Maintain production and quality goals
• Perform SAP and MES data entry tasks
• Support packaging, labeling, assembling, and inspection processes
• Maintain GMP and safety compliance standards
• Assist with rework and continuous improvement efforts
• Cross-train within the department as needed
• Keep work areas clean and organized

MACHINE OPERATOR | REQUIREMENTS:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
• Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
• Manufacturing experience required
• Experience with SAP, MES, or precision measuring tools is a plus
• Ability to read and understand written instructions in English
• Basic math and problem-solving skills required
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours and overtime when needed
