Machine Operator (Overnight)

Position: Machine Operator (Overnight)
Location: Gates, NY

Summary: Nesco Resource is partnering with a leading Rochester-area plastics injection molding manufacturer to hire a Machine Operator for an overnight shift. This temp-to-perm opportunity is ideal for individuals looking to build a long-term career in manufacturing while gaining hands-on experience in machine operation, quality inspection, and production processes. Operators will be responsible for maintaining efficient production, performing machine changeovers, conducting quality checks, and ensuring finished products meet customer specifications. Pay Rate:

• $19.00/Hour (Including Shift Differential)

Shift(s):

• C Shift: 10:45 PM - 7:15 AM (Monday - Friday)

Job Duties:

• Operate and monitor assigned machines and production equipment safely and efficiently
• Perform machine changeovers following established procedures
• Conduct quality inspections using gauges, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools
• Package finished products according to customer and production specifications
• Follow all safety guidelines and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Complete safety observations and documentation as assigned
• Assist with production needs and support continuous workflow throughout the facility

Requirements:

• Previous machine operation experience preferred but not required
• Strong math skills and attention to detail
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Ability to move between machines and remain active throughout the shift
• Strong work ethic and commitment to safety and quality
• High School Diploma or GED required

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for 8-10 hours per shift
• Frequent bending, reaching, and movement throughout the workday
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining quality standards
