Job Description: Responsible for performing various tasks to set up, operate, monitor, troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on assigned hydraulic presses and supporting machinery such as rubber mills. Also responsible for in process inspection of parts to specifications and making adjustments, or tool changes as necessary to maintain quality specifications. Sets up and operates a production machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. Adjusts machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications and in a timely fashion.

Responsibilities:
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, follow standardized work protocols and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment.
* Experience in a manufacturing environment desired.
* Perform necessary pre-operation activities to ensure proper equipment startup and operation on multiple pieces of equipment.
* Operate/monitor multiple pieces of equipment during operation to ensure quality production and minimal unplanned stops.
* Communicate with team members and support teams to ensure continuous production of the correct product at high quality levels with minimal wasted time and materials.
* Housekeeping and sanitation.
* Other duties may be assigned.
* Ability to work overtime as needed

6am - 2:30pm
Salary is $19.00/hr




Requirements/Qualifications:
* High School degree, or trade school equivalent.
* Ability to weigh and measure materials to mix materials to ratios
* Knowledge of manufacturing environments
* Basic communication skills
* Ability to interpret blueprints and drawings that detail product specifications
* Able to use/wear P.P.E (Personal Protective Equipment),i.e. Safety Glasses, Gloves, Hearing Protection, Safety Shoes, Protective Arm Sleeves, etc.

* Physical Stamina
* Ability to troubleshoot/problem solve
* Good judgement and decision making around dangerous equipment.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
United States Citizen or Permanent Resident required
