We are currently hiring for an experienced food manufacturing Machine Operator for a premier Bakery located in the Hayward CA area.
Job Title: Machine Operator 1 Pay Rate: $21.75 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday 1000 PM - 630 AM
MUST be available to work OT and weekends and be flexible with start and end times. Machine Operators may be scheduled for up to 4 hours of overtime per day as needed.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Runs production machinery and makes adjustments as needed to improve quality of baked good being produced. • Reports immediately any machinery issues. • Must fill and record daily production requirements sheet. • Follows companys GMP and other food safety and quality requirements. • Checks finished goods and reports any issues that negatively affect product. • Keeps work area clean and organized.
Job Requirements:
• Must have at least 1 year of prior Machine Operator experience in a fast-paced food manufacturer. • Must be able to lift 55 pounds. • Must be able to work entire shift on feet and may push/pull equipment on rollers as needed. • Must be able to speak, read, and write in basic English. • Must be able to perform math calculations and use a computer. • Able to work in a hot or cold and/or noisy environment.
