Duties & Responsibilities:

• Machine Operation: Set up, operate, and maintain saws to cut metal materials according to engineering drawings and job instructions.

• Material Preparation: Review work orders, select raw materials, and ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.

• Tooling & Fixture Setup: Install and align cutting tools for each job, ensuring accuracy and optimal performance.

• Quality Control: Inspect workpieces during and after machining to ensure they meet dimensional and visual standards. Make adjustments as necessary.

• Programming & Setup: Program and set up CNC machines for cutting, profiling, and stamping operations to optimize productivity and accuracy.

• Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform routine maintenance on machines, clean, lubricate, replace worn parts, and troubleshoot any issues.

• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of production, machine settings, and quality checks. Report any deviations to the supervisor.

• Safety & Compliance: Follow safety guidelines and regulations at all times, identifying potential hazards and mitigating risks.

• Continuous Improvement: Look for opportunities to improve processes, reduce waste, and enhance efficiency. Provide suggestions and work with the team to implement improvements.
