Job Summary:
We are hiring an Operator I to support the production of high-quality medical devices in a manufacturing environment. This position involves assembling, repairing, testing, and inspecting medical device components while following strict quality, safety, and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, able to work with small components, and committed to producing quality products. Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble, repair, and test medical devices, including pacemakers, ICDs, leads, and related assemblies.
  • Perform manufacturing operations according to established procedures and quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate production and quality documentation to ensure product traceability.
  • Read and follow written work instructions and standard operating procedures.
  • Handle small components with precision and attention to detail.
  • Utilize electronic data collection systems and basic computer applications.
  • Support Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Follow all safety policies, Quality Management Systems (QMS), and regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding production issues and improvements.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant manufacturing environment.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Previous manufacturing or assembly experience is preferred.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Work Environment:
  • Medical device manufacturing environment with strict cleanroom and gowning requirements.
  • Must comply with all PPE, contamination control, and safety policies.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive assembly tasks.
