Job Title:Machine Operator - 2nd Shift
Client Site Industry & Highlights:
We are currently seeking a dedicated Machine Operator to join our Fabrication Department. This role offers a competitive pay rate of $18.50 per hour and is scheduled for the 2nd shift, Monday to Thursday, with 10-hour shifts and overtime opportunities as needed.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate machinery and equipment in accordance with provided training and safety protocols.
• Update inventory records and scan order transmissions within the computer system.
• Utilize the metric system for measurements and calculations.
• Identify nonconforming items and determine appropriate disposition to maintain quality standards.
• Read and operate snap gauges and calipers to ensure precision in fabrication tasks.
• Safely operate a forklift and assist with moving materials as necessary.
• Collaborate with Quality Control (QC) to inspect incoming materials for quality assurance.
• Provide support in various departmental tasks as required, ensuring smooth operations.
• Measure materials using tape measures to prepare for fabrication processes.
• Responsible for order pulling and packing to meet production schedules.

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Previous manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Strong awareness of safety and quality standards.
• Ability to understand and adhere to both verbal and written instructions.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Capable of working collaboratively as part of a team.
• Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and walk as needed during shifts.
• Proficient in using hands and fingers to handle or operate tools and controls, with the ability to reach with hands and arms.
