Day Shift - Contract Position
Pay Rate: approximately $27.50 per hour
*Looking for experienced Sub-Assembly Builders versed in GM Standards and Practices.
Description of the Machine Builder/Sub-Assembly:- Attention to detail and able to focus on small details
- Be able to read assembly drawings and detail prints
- Have proper tool packages
- Understand basic welding principles and practices
- Understand basic measurement tools and proper implementation including metric scale, calipers, micrometers, and indicators
- Be able to operate various types of equipment such as mills and welders
- Know about NAAMS standards and how they are incorporated into subassembly of tools
- Showing up for work on time and good attendance is necessary
- Understand and be able to read key sheets and stencil cylinders and units
- Understand basic machining principles and practices
- Must be organized and keep area clean
