Machine Builder

We're seeking a dependable and motivated Machine Builder for a hands-on manufacturing role in Rockford, IL. The position involves assembling equipment and systems from scratch, working independently and in teams, with work hours Monday to Friday, 7am-3:30pm, and a pay rate of $23.00-$28.00 per hour.

• Assemble mechanical parts and complete machines
• Route cables and pneumatic lines
• Wire motors (single and 3-phase) and field connections
• Follow electrical and pneumatic schematics
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and report issues
• Meet production goals while ensuring quality
• Participate in safety and job-specific training
• Work overtime during busy periods
• 
  Requirements:
• Mechanical and electrical aptitude
• Experience with AC/DC circuits and wiring
• Ability to use hand tools and interpret diagrams
• Attention to detail, organization, ability to lift up to 60 lbs and climb ladders
• Strong communication skills and team orientation
• Provide basic hand tools; specialty tools supplied
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
