Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Machine Builders for projects located in and around Grand Rapids, MI. This is a full time opportunity with a pay range of $25-35/hour based on experience and skill level plus $100/per diem for travelers 60+ miles from the job site. Job Scope:
Assemble machined and purchased components to build diagnostic machines
Perform wiring of junction boxes
Use precision measuring tools and interpret measurements accurately
Operate hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment safely
Assist in welding and fabrication as needed
Safely operate a forklift, overhead crane, and other rigging equipment
Use equipment such as drill press, small mill, and band saw
Minimum of 2 years of machine building experience
Able to Read and interpret blueprints and schematics
Experience with welding, fabrication, and heavy rigging
Must have own basic hand tools
Ability to use and safely operate power tools and shop machinery
Forklift and overhead crane operation experience
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions
