Job Summary: The Machine Builder is responsible for assembling mechanical and electrical components, ensuring products are built according to specifications and quality standards. This role involves working with hand tools, interpreting assembly instructions and blueprints, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. Key Responsibilities: Assemble mechanical and electrical components using hand tools, power tools, jigs, and fixtures Follow assembly and testing instructions such as color coding, PVC solvent welding, and thread taping Receive components in programmed sequence and ensure proper assembly flow Perform assembly for standard and custom-built products Read and interpret blueprints and product drawings when required Update and redline drawings as needed Enter work hours and production data into ERP systems (e.g., SAP) Complete all production and quality documentation accurately Maintain clean and safe work areas, adhering to 5S and safety standards Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and housekeeping audits Assist with plumbing and mechanical work when required Troubleshoot and rebuild equipment such as filter presses (if applicable) Ensure compliance with workplace safety and product quality standards Required Skills: Proficiency in using hand and power tools Basic mechanical assembly skills Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures Strong attention to detail and coordination Ability to work in a team-oriented environment Minimum 6 months of relevant experience required Role involves hands-on assembly work in a manufacturing environment Requires adherence to safety, quality, and operational procedures Basic troubleshooting skills Preferred Skills: Experience with PVC welding Mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic system knowledge Ability to troubleshoot and rebuild filter presses Experience reading and interpreting blueprints Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP Education: High School Diploma or GED required Education: High School
