About the Role
The M&A Analyst will support the execution of the company's growth plans in the energy sector by coordinating and managing M&A processes and ensuring effective collaboration across teams.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate bidding processes for the acquisition of energy projects, ensuring robust analysis, documentation, and strategic alignment.
Manage and oversee transaction execution when bids are awarded, ensuring smooth progress across all workstreams.
Drive the negotiation of purchase agreements in close collaboration with the Legal department.
Serve as the primary point of contact for Ferrovial's Finance team, supporting and coordinating all Due Diligence activities.
Monitor and supervise compliance with contractual conditions throughout the entire closing process.
Ensure effective information flow among finance, analytics, development, legal, and technical teams during M&A transaction execution.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics, or Engineering (with further education in finance).
Strong knowledge of project finance is essential.
Proven experience in M&A operations within the infrastructure sector, particularly with complex financing structures.
Fluency in English (near‑native or very high level).
Minimum 3years of experience in similar roles
