Schedule

  • Shift: 2nd Shift
  • Hours: 4:00 PM – 1:00 AM
  • Schedule: Monday – Friday
  • Hours per Week: 40
  • Meal Break: 1-hour unpaid lunch

Compensation

  • Local Pay: Up to $40/hour (W-2)
  • Traveler Pay:$1,200–$1,500/week

Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced clinical setting. The ideal candidate will have experience with immunizations, biometric screenings, blood draws, and electronic health record documentation while delivering exceptional patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

  • Obtain and document patient vital signs, medical history, and other clinical information.
  • Prepare and room patients for examinations and procedures.
  • Assist healthcare providers during patient exams and minor clinical procedures.
  • Administer medications, immunizations, and vaccines, including seasonal flu shots.
  • Perform biometric screenings and routine clinical assessments.
  • Collect blood specimens and perform venipuncture as required.
  • Accurately document patient encounters, treatments, and procedures in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
  • Respond to patient phone calls and clinical inquiries following established protocols.
  • Educate patients on medications, treatments, preventive care, and health maintenance.
  • Maintain exam room cleanliness, supplies, and inventory.
  • Provide general clinical and administrative support to ensure efficient daily operations.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver quality patient care.

Required Qualifications

Education

  • Graduate of an accredited Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program.

Experience

  • Experience administering immunizations, including flu vaccines.
  • Experience performing biometric screenings.
  • Experience with venipuncture and blood specimen collection.
  • Experience using Electronic Health Records (EHR).

Required Licensure & Certifications

  • Current and active LVN/LPN License.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
  • Immunization Certification preferred, if applicable.
