Lumber Sales Associate

Custom Personnel has a client seeking a Sales Associate to make significant contributions to the development of sales and marketing strategies and tactics. The successful candidate can communicate effectively and build relationships with architects, project managers and contractors. You will need to identify potential customers and maintain a solid customer contact list.

Qualifications

• Experience in business, marketing, manufacturing, or similar field
• Construction industry experience helpful
• Demonstrated skill in leadership, motivation and business management.
• Strong track record of significant contributions to the development of sales and marketing strategies and tactics.
• Ability to read blueprints, do take-offs, read and understand specifications including building codes and industry standards helpful.
• Set, prioritize, and meet goals and objectives.
• Self-motivated, results oriented, and have the ability to plan, develop, and organize.
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and computer skills required.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks, Word and Excel required.
• Willingness to assist in other tasks outside of sales as needed
