Responsibilities
- Perform oil changes and routine maintenance services according to manufacturer specifications
- Conduct comprehensive multi-point vehicle inspections
- Inspect fluid levels and recommend maintenance services based on inspection findings
- Check and adjust tire pressure as needed
- Rotate, repair, and replace tires when appropriate
- Perform fluid exchanges and flush services, including coolant, brake fluid, transmission fluid, and power steering fluid
- Inspect belts, hoses, batteries, filters, brakes, and other vehicle components
- Maintain accurate repair orders and inspection reports
- Follow dealership safety procedures and manufacturer guidelines
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
- Communicate vehicle findings and service recommendations to Service Advisors
- Assist higher-level technicians when needed
- Deliver quality workmanship and exceptional customer service
Qualifications
- Previous Automotive Lube Technician experience preferred
- Minimum one year of lube technician, maintenance technician, or automotive service experience preferred
- Ability to perform oil changes, tire services, and routine vehicle maintenance
- Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
- Dependable work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced service environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Desire to learn and grow within the automotive industry
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screening
