United Community Bank is in search of a Loan Servicing support staff member to assist with various duties in the loan servicing department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming customer calls and provide customer service over the phone
  • Accurately verify customer information using customer database software
  • Assist with all aspects of homeowners insurance
  • Assist with processing policy cancelations and reinstatements
  • Assist with gathering and distributing policy declarations and bills
  • Assist with Force-Placing insurance on borrowers' loans when needed
  • Assist with all aspects of loss mitigation
  • Assist with inspection processes
  • Assist with imaging documentation
  • Assist with updating the collection module with information
  • Assist with investor reporting as needed
  • Perform daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department’s activities
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships at all levels by proactively participating and contributing to a positive work environment, controlling emotions and temperament, and exhibiting courteous, respectful, and professional behavior at all times
  • Maintain familiarity with bank products and services
  • Maintain appropriate understanding of Bank systems
  • Maintain familiarity with all regulatory standards
  • Maintain familiarity with and uphold all Bank policies and procedures including policies and procedures related to this position
  • Complete all training requirements as assigned
  • Other related duties as assigned

Computer Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, and Power Point)
  • Experience using Navigator/Director or other Banking software is a plus

Education/Experience Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
