Description
The LSC Production Operations Specialist has knowledge of commercial and consumer lending operational processes sufficient to proactively plan, analyze, coordinate related department operations, and direct the resulting resolution with minimum supervision. Under the direction of the LSC Production Operations Manager, provides support in the development, implementation, and administration of critical projects, processes, and systems for the Loan Service Center (LSC). Serves as an operational liaison with LSC business partners, such as Commercial Operations, Retail Operations, Product & Strategy, Support Operations Team, and other key business partners. Positively supports the LSC leadership team and leads through philosophy and policy changes.

Essential Functions


Communicates system enhancements, improvements and policy changes to LSC and other business partners.

Implements and supports continuous improvement methodologies to evaluate, recommend and facilitate changes to improve processes.

Partners with the LSC Production Operations Manager, LSC Managers and LSC Business Analysts to assist with process improvement, including automation of manual tasks.

Provides one-on-one operational training or group training on a new process or improvement to an existing process using various delivery methods.

Presents process improvements or enhanced process training at internal or other meetings upon request.

Performs assigned departmental validation duties to improve and maintain loan servicing operations for all types of related risk; compliance, internal controls/financial, and operational.

Administers, researches, writes, and publishes to the content management tool used by LSC. Additionally administers the LSC intranet sites.

Research and troubleshoot complex issues.

Interprets and writes policy and procedure for the LSC to include updates made for new regulations or updated compliance rulings and lending operations.

Attend meetings as needed on behalf of LSC Production Operations Manager, and periodically, the LSC management team.


Qualifications


Demonstrates organizational and analytical skills, strategic thinking and ability to work collaboratively or independently. Uses judgment, experience, and job knowledge to assist staff in resolving complex daily problems affecting workflow and goal achievement
Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with diverse groups of people in a team environment
Strong system and process analysis skills, and the ability to recognize process improvement opportunities and recommend positive courses of action
Proficient PC skills to navigate Bank software, including the Microsoft Office Suite, database, desktop information management, presentation software, Internet, and related applications to include department and bank specific software.
General bank lending knowledge acquired through experience in the areas of application related products, control procedures, transaction processing, retail procedures.
Lending knowledge of state, federal, and Bank compliance requirements, procedures and policies.
Ability to use independent judgment in deciding methods and needs of analysis.
Problem solving skills and the ability to recognize and research variances.

Compensation: $26.63 to $39.94 per hour

The compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position located in Spokane, WA. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.
