THE IDEAL CANDIDATE NEEDS TO BE AN LPN OR A MEDICAL ASSISTANT
Summary/Objective: Provide basic medical and nursing care. Ensure the comfort of patients, discuss health care with patients, and report status of patients to registered nurses and physicians.
Essential Functions\u00b7 Summons and prepares patient for office visit.\u00b7 Set up rooms and trays for scheduled procedures.\u00b7 Assist provider with clinic procedures.\u00b7 Administer medications and/or vaccines as needed.\u00b7 Identifies and evaluates the patient needs by way of telephone triage.\u00b7 Recognizes and responds appropriately to GYN emergencies.\u00b7 Adheres to Nursing policy and procedures when documenting information in the patient's medical record\u00b7 Is an active member of the care team and may include additional duties related to care coordination.
Part time- Monday & Wednesday with the possibility for additional day(s)

LPN Specialist requirements are:
Required Education and Experience:
Graduate of an accredited school of Practical Nursing and hold an active Florida state license. One (1) year prior experience in GYN required, two (2) years experience preferred.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications: CPR certification.
Medical Assistant Specialist Requirements are:
Required Education and Experience:
High school diploma or GED. Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or 1 year of Medical Assistant work experience within the last 2 years. Medical Assistant Certification must be obtained within 90 days of employment. Current BLS certification or to be completed within first 90 days of employment.
