South College invites applications for the position of LPN Program Coordinator for the School of Nursing at the South College Nashville Campus. The LPN Program Coordinator reports to the Associate Dean of Nursing and is responsible for supervising all aspects of the Certificate in Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) program, including the organization, administration, continuous review, planning, compliance, development, implementation, and general effectiveness, including instructor supervision.

About the Position -------------------

The LPN Program Coordinator is a key member of the School of Nursing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching in their assigned area, working with faculty to promote continuous improvement of the quality of instruction, faculty training and development, coordination and administration of the academic program for achievement of student outcomes.

Responsibilities ----------------

Requirements ------------

  • Minimum of an earned Master of Science degree in Nursing
  • Licensure
  • Hold an unrestricted RN license to practice in TN or in one of the eNLC compact states
  • Experience
  • Experience teaching at the post-secondary level (preferred)
  • Experience in academic administration (preferred)
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills that inspire others
  • Familiarity with TN State Board of Nursing
  • Proficiency in instructional methodology, curriculum design, and program planning
