Position Overview
We are seeking experienced LPNs with Pediatric Emergency Department experience for a fast-paced acute care environment in Syracuse, New York. Candidates must be comfortable performing IV placement, phlebotomy, and supporting pediatric patient care within an emergency setting.
Requirements
Experience
- Minimum 1 year of LPN experience required
- Prior inpatient or Pediatric ED experience preferred
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records strongly preferred
Licensure & Certifications
- Current New York State LPN license required
- CPR certification required

Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care under the direction of the RN or primary nurse
- Assist physicians and nursing staff with patient care and procedures
- Observe and report patient responses to treatments
- Prepare exam rooms and maintain clinical areas
- Administer injections and assist with clinical procedures
- Perform patient intake, vital signs, and documentation
- Support scheduling, referrals, authorizations, and general office duties as needed
- Participate in unit management and patient flow activities
