School Nurse

Overview: School Nurse for 2026/2027 school year. 

Compensation: LPN - $40/hourly, RN - $46 hourly 

Job Responsibilities:

• Provided 1:1 nursing care for a kindergarten-aged student with specialized medical needs.
• Accompany the student during transportation between home and school.
• Monitor and respond to the student's healthcare needs throughout the school day.
• Collaborate with school staff, family members, and healthcare providers as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow physician orders and care plans.

Requirements:

• Current LPN or RN license in good standing in Ohio.
• Experience with tracheostomy care preferred.
• Pediatric experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
• CPR Certification
• Knowledge of any state and federal healthcare laws and regulations.
