Department Details

The Moorhead Pediatric Clinic nurses work as a team with each other and the Pediatricians to provide excellent patient care to the kids in our community. This location promotes close working relationships and collaboration. The Children’s Clinic is a friendly and fun environment.

Our Licensed Practical Nurses focus on supporting our patients with:
- well child care
- medication rechecks
- behavioral health management
- same day/ill appointments
- medication and vaccine administration

Clinic is open Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm. All staff are crossed trained to our other Children's Clinic locations.

Summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will participate in the implementation and evaluation of patient care, under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician.

Qualifications

Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.

If position requires IV therapy/management skills, the following is required in North Dakota: graduation from a Board approved AASPN program where IV therapy is part of the curriculum or completion of an IV Therapy course approved by the North Dakota Board of Nursing.

Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges. Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.
