Compensation / Benefits

  • $21.15-$34.55/hr.based on previous work experience.
  • Evening differential $2.00/hr.
  • Night differential $2.50/hr.
  • Weekend differential $2.50/hr.

Our 5TA Medical team provides medical/surgical care to adult populations with a wide variety of complex medical conditions. We focus our efforts on restoring optimal physical and mental well-being in each unique situation with a constant goal of maintaining a safe and supportive environment for our patients. Our unit consists of 16 med/surg tele beds and provides post-op colorectal, urological, and diabetic limb care. We are looking for a high-energy LPN with excellent communication skills to join our team of healers!

Responsibilities:

Job Summary

  • Performs duties of a licensed practical nurse as prescribed by the Oklahoma Nurse Practice Act
  • Contributes to the development of a plan of care and follows through with such plan for selected patients
  • Administers medication with a high degree of safety and accuracy
  • Documents nursing care and activities
  • Assists with patient care and monitors patients during procedures
  • Assists the departmental assistant with clinical matters
  • Maintains the exam/treatment rooms and work environment
  • Assists with the training of other staff
Qualifications:

Education

  • Completion of a vocational program for Licensed Practical Nurse

Experience

  • Prefer previous hospital experience
  • Previous work history reflecting stable employment is necessary  
  • If no work experience, will consider school attendance record and performance

(Above requirements can be met by the equivalent combination of education and experience).

 

Licensure/Certification.

  • Current Oklahoma State LPN License
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained thru re-training for duration of employment
