Compensation / Benefits
- $21.15-$34.55/hr.based on previous work experience.
- Evening differential $2.00/hr.
- Night differential $2.50/hr.
- Weekend differential $2.50/hr.

Our 5TA Medical team provides medical/surgical care to adult populations with a wide variety of complex medical conditions. We focus our efforts on restoring optimal physical and mental well-being in each unique situation with a constant goal of maintaining a safe and supportive environment for our patients. Our unit consists of 16 med/surg tele beds and provides post-op colorectal, urological, and diabetic limb care. We are looking for a high-energy LPN with excellent communication skills to join our team of healers!
Responsibilities:
Job Summary
- Performs duties of a licensed practical nurse as prescribed by the Oklahoma Nurse Practice Act
- Contributes to the development of a plan of care and follows through with such plan for selected patients
- Administers medication with a high degree of safety and accuracy
- Documents nursing care and activities
- Assists with patient care and monitors patients during procedures
- Assists the departmental assistant with clinical matters
- Maintains the exam/treatment rooms and work environment
- Assists with the training of other staff
Qualifications:
Education
- Completion of a vocational program for Licensed Practical Nurse
Experience
- Prefer previous hospital experience
- Previous work history reflecting stable employment is necessary
- If no work experience, will consider school attendance record and performance
(Above requirements can be met by the equivalent combination of education and experience).
Licensure/Certification.
- Current Oklahoma State LPN License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained thru re-training for duration of employment
