As a Medical Assistant in this role, a majority of your time will be spent in clinic assisting with patient care. This is a Monday-Friday Opportunity and would be scheduled to work between the hours of 7 am-5 pm. What Youll Do:As a Medical Assistant in this role, a majority of your time will be spent in clinic assisting with patient care.As an LPN, a majority of your time will be spent triaging and answering patient calls along with medication reconciliation and prior authorization.Assist with triaging patientsAccompany patients to exam/procedure room; assisting patients as needed with walking, transfers, dressing, collecting specimens, preparing for exam, etcCollecting & Document patient history in EpicAssist physician with various proceduresWhat Youll Bring:Completion of post secondary program in Medical Assistant or experience as a physician office ORAmerican Association of Medical Assistants certification (AAMA), Registered Medical Assistant certification (RMA), or National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) preferred.
