Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – LTAC | Agency Staffing
Location: Baton Rouge, Denham Springs, Gonzales
Shifts Available: AM / PM / PRN / Weekends
Pay Rate: $27-$32/hour (based on experience & shift)
Position Overview:
We are actively seeking experienced and dependable Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our staffing agency team, working across multiple Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) facilities. This role involves caring for medically complex patients, including wound care and ongoing treatments in a fast-paced environment.
Ideal candidates are flexible, confident, and able to adapt quickly to different facility settings.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct nursing care to LTAC patients
Administer medications and treatments as ordered
Perform and assist with wound care and dressing changes
Monitor patient conditions and report changes to RN/physician
Accurately document care using WellSky charting system
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
Follow facility-specific policies and procedures
Requirements:
Active Louisiana LPN License (required)
Current CPR/BLS certification
Minimum 1 year LPN experience required
LTAC and/or wound care experience strongly preferred
Experience with WellSky charting required
Ability to work at multiple facilities
Reliable transportation
Strong clinical and time management skills
