University Home Care Inc is seeking a dedicated and experienced LPN - Director of Nursing to lead the nursing team at University Senior Living Center. This role requires a compassionate leader with a strong background in nursing management, committed to providing exceptional care and support to our residents. The position typically involves working Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, with on-call duties and coverage as needed for call-offs.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily nursing operations and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and company policies.
- Manage and supervise CNA staff and coordinate home care services to meet resident needs.
- Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
- Provide leadership, training, and support to nursing staff.
- Handle administrative duties including scheduling, documentation, and performance evaluations.
- Respond to on-call situations and provide coverage for nursing staff as required.
Requirements
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with current and valid licensure.
- Minimum of two years’ experience as a Director of Nursing.
- Proven experience managing CNAs and home care services.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work a typical 9 AM to 5 PM schedule, Monday to Friday, with on-call availability.
