Main Responsibilities:
• Maintains responsibility for all nursing care administered in conjunction with the Nurse Manager • Administers medications to residents • Gives direct care to residents, perform treatments as indicated • Assure that physicians orders are carried out and integrated into resident care plan • Documents information on residents records according to policy and procedure • Directs nursing assistants in the care of residents • Instructs associates in the use of specific techniques
May be required to work as Charge Nurse
Requirements:
• Valid NYS license as a LPN • 1 yr. experience in Long Term Care or acute care would be preferred • Experience with guiding nursing through the regulatory survey process • Excellent organizational skills • Able to work rotating weekends and holidays
Position Pay Range: $27.25-35.00/hour Starting Pay: Based on experience
