Amira Choice of Roseville on Lexington avenue is a beautiful, well-designed senior living community that offers the highest level of distinction for our residents. We offer 80 senior units with a mix of Independent/Assisted Living as well as Memory Care and Care Suites. Our community is adjacent to both Minneapolis and St. Paul, MN and is near public transportation making it a convenient location for our employees. We boast an exceptional team of caregivers who believe in our mission to heal, discover, and educate for longer healthier, more meaningful lives.Performs a variety of professional nursing duties in compliance with Class F home care regulations and follow established policies and procedures

Required Qualifications

• less than 1 year None to 1 Year
• 1 year One to Three Years
• Ability to use technology in the form of computers, handheld devices, cell phone & fax machine
• Proficient in Eldermark computer documentation software
• Basic Life Support (American Heart Assoc or Red Cross) Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Provider from American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross; accepted certifications as follows -AHA: BLS for Healthcare Providers (CPR & AED) Program or BLS Provider - BLS Instructor. American Red Cross: CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and/or Healthcare Providers, Life Guarding First Aid/CPR/AED. BLS is required upon hire and/or new hire must show proof that they are currently enrolled in a BLS class to renew or obtain their certification. BLS certification must be obtained within three-weeks of hire date and before nurse can perform independent practice.
• MN Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Preferred Qualifications

• Vocational/Technical Training or Associate Degree LPN
