Job Summary
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for pre-visit planning, standard rooming responsibilities, assisting with procedures, discharge instructions, and carries out both administrative and clinical tasks as directed by a medical provider. This position is instrumental in helping the patient feel at ease while collaborating with the provider throughout the patients visit.
What you will do
• Room patients, perform and document vital signs and patient backgrounds. • Coordinate provider schedules and appointments, enter orders, and prepare patient charts. • Instruct patients and families as directed within scope of licensure or certification. • Prepare patients and assist medical providers with in-office procedures and prepare and administer medications and immunizations. • Maintain exams rooms and equipment to be within infection control standards. Ensure appropriate levels of medical supplies for each patient room.
Experience Qualifications
Current clinical experience as a licensed practical nurse. Preferred

Licenses and Certifications
• Valid Practical Nursing license issued by the state of WI upon hire required. • CPR and Basic Life support for Healthcare Providers certification from approved program required.
