With a commitment to patient- and family-centered care, the LPN uses the nursing process in ways that values the uniqueness of

Jefferson Health. The LPN is prepared to function as a member of the health-care team by exercising sound nursing judgment
based on preparation, knowledge, experience in nursing and competency. The LPN participates in the planning, implementation
and evaluation of nursing care using focused assessment. Under the direction and supervision of the licensed clinical team
member, LPNs carry out selected nursing acts for patients that effectively address the individual needs and priorities of the
patient and are consistent with their cultural beliefs and values.
