Job Title: Low Voltage Technician
Job Description
This role focuses on installing, terminating, and testing low-voltage structured cabling systems for voice, data, security, and related technologies. The Low Voltage Technician works with copper and fiber cabling, low-voltage systems such as CCTV, access control, and fire alarm, and ensures all installations meet project specifications and applicable codes. The position requires hands-on field work, regular use of test equipment, and close attention to safety and quality standards.

Work Environment
This is a field-based position with a standard schedule of Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with the opportunity for overtime on Fridays. Work takes place in a variety of customer sites, including commercial and industrial facilities, where you will frequently work above ceilings, in crawl spaces, equipment rooms, and other confined or elevated areas. You will regularly use ladders, lifts, and a range of tools and test equipment such as fusion splicers, OTDRs, and power meters. The role involves routine lifting and carrying of equipment and materials weighing approximately 20-50 lbs. Travel to different job sites may be required based on project needs, and flexibility to support overtime work offers opportunities for additional hours. Dress is typically appropriate for construction and field environments, with required safety gear such as hard hats, safety glasses, and other personal protective equipment as specified by job sites.
