Protection Technologies LLC is seeking a self-motivated, reliable construction Low Voltage Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and experienced in installing and servicing security and low-voltage systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, and service CCTV, Access Control, Locks, Intercom, Fire, and other low-voltage security systems.
  
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues efficiently.
  
  
• Perform preventative maintenance and identify potential risks, providing effective solutions.
  
  
• Install and configure hardware and related low-voltage components.
  
  
• Review work orders to confirm materials and scope prior to arrival on site.
  
  
• Document daily activities, including notes and photos, within company systems.
  
  
• Maintain organized inventory of service parts and keep company property clean.
  
  
• Complete work safely, on schedule, and with minimal disruption to the client.
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years of relevant installation or service experience preferred.
  
  
• Experience in construction security systems, low-voltage wiring, IT, carpentry, or related trades.
  
  
• Strong troubleshooting, critical thinking, and attention to detail.
  
  
• Ability to read blueprints and perform basic measurements accurately.
  
  
• OSHA 30 and SST required within 90 days (preferred at hire).
  
  
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  
  
• Professional communication skills (written and verbal).
  
  
• Team-oriented, reliable, organized, and dependable.
  
  

Physical & Work Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  
  
• Ability to stand for extended periods and climb ladders/work at heights.
  
  
• Ability to distinguish colors for wiring and terminations.
  
  
• Ability to travel to multiple job sites both local and regional in the East Coast
  
  
• Flexible schedule with availability
