A well-established, locally owned, and operated security integration company is seeking an experienced Low Voltage Technician/Programmer for an immediate opportunity. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and skilled in troubleshooting to ensure successful job completion. This role involves installing, programming, and servicing security and access control systems, including CCTV, burglar alarms, and networking solutions.
Install and configure low voltage security systems, including access control, CCTV, and alarm systems
Run, pull, and terminate cables, wiring, and conduit
Program and calibrate security equipment, ensuring compliance with codes and standards
Troubleshoot and repair electronic security systems, verifying full functionality before site departure
Train customers on installed equipment and provide ongoing technical support
Maintain detailed documentation of installations, service calls, and equipment usage
Operate and maintain company-provided vehicles, lifts, trailers, and tools
Keep inventory organized and ensure all tools and materials are ready for jobs
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and certifications through continuous learning
Maintain a valid driver’s license with a clean record (must be insurable)
Preferred Experience & Certifications:
Experience and/or certifications in:
Electronic Access Control (EAC) Systems: PremiSys, Keri, ICT
Surveillance (CCTV) Systems: Avigilon, Verkada, ExacqVision, Panasonic IPRO
Intrusion & Security Systems: Honeywell Intrusion
Networking & Communications: BICSI, intercoms, paging systems, and general networking
Security Gate & Turnstile Installation & Service
Fire alarm systems experience is a plus
